そう語る彼女は、忙しい毎日の中でも料理を大切にし、その美意識を器へと映しています。
食の時間に寄り添い、料理を受けとめる器。

Maiko Miyaoka Exhibition (Porcelain)
Maiko Miyaoka, who has her studio in Ome, Tokyo,
creates works inspired by Ko-Imari.
Her vessels are characterized by muted indigo and soft white tones.
“I believe that the time we feel happiest in a day is during a meal.”
With these words, she continues to value cooking even in her busy daily life,
and reflects that sensibility in her work.
Vessels that accompany moments of dining and receive the presence of food—
this is the essence of Miyaoka’s practice.

京都に生まれ、陶芸の家に育った木村龍生さん。
祖父の代から続く環境の中で培われた眼差しは、古い焼き物への深い理解とともに、
確かな手として器にあらわれています。
唐津、織部、伊羅保、染付、白磁、多様な様式を横断しながらも、
いずれも「使う器」としての骨格を備え、
とりわけ酒器には際立った魅力があります。
食を支える器と、酒の時間に寄り添う器。

Ryusei Kimura Exhibition (Ceramics)
Kyoto-born and raised in a family of potters,Ryusei Kimura grew up surrounded by ceramics.
Within an environment shaped over generationssince his grandfather’s time,he has developed a discerning eye
one grounded in a deep understanding of historical works and expressed througha confident hand in his own vessels.
Working across a wide range of styles—Karatsu,Oribe, Ido, sometsuke, and white porcelain—his pieces,
while diverse in appearance, consistently possess a structural integrity as vessels for use,
with his sake wares showing particular distinction.
Vessels that support the act of eating,
and those that accompany the time of drinking.

2026年1月7日(土)-2月3日(金) 赤嶺学(磁) 松村英治(陶) 二人展 -無釉という表層-
本展は、焼締という技法を、装飾や偶然の景色としてではなく、
造形と思想の選択として捉え直します。
釉薬をかけないという行為は、単なる引き算ではありません。
土や磁土の奥にある密度や気配を浮かび上がらせる行為でもあります。
赤嶺さんの白磁、松村さんの陶。
それぞれの方法で「無釉」に向き合います。

Manabu Akamine (Porcelain) × Eiji Matsumura (Stoneware)
— The Un-Glazed Surface —
This exhibition reexamines yakishime not as decoration or accidental surface effects,but as a deliberate formal and conceptual choice.
To forgo glaze is not simply a matter of subtraction.
It is an act that brings out the density and quiet presence held within clay and porcelain.
Akamine’s porcelain and Matsumura’s stoneware each approach the idea of “un-glazed” in their own way.
We invite you to experience these subtle surfaces and their distinct expressions.

栃木県・益子に工房を構える櫻井薫さん。
草原に広がる野の花のような、やわらかな表情のうつわを制作しています。
櫻井さんは、
焼き物は「自由で柔軟であること」が根本にあると思う、
と語ります。
型にはめず、おおらかな気持ちでうつわと向き合う姿勢が、その造形として立ち上がります。
本展では、近年取り組んでいる薪窯焼成の作品もご紹介します。

Kaoru Sakurai is a pottery artist based in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture.
Her works have a gentle presence, reminiscent of wildflowers spreading across an open field.
Sakurai believes that pottery is rooted in “freedom and flexibility.”
With an open and unconfined approach, she engages with each vessel without forcing it into predetermined forms.
This exhibition also features works fired in a wood-burning kiln, a process she has been exploring in recent years.

2026年2月28日(土)-3月6日(金) 渡邊心平展 (磁)
佐賀の山中に「只々堂窯」という名で工房を構える渡邊心平さん。
少し濁りを含む磁器肌に、細密な筆致で重ねられた染付・上絵は、
初期伊万里と中国様式の構図を忠実に踏襲しています。
古典への参照は、懐石の作法に連なるうつわとしての間口となり、
多くの料理人に支持されています。
今回は新作も合わせて、染付・上絵の器を中心に展示いたします。

Watanabe Shimpei works at his kiln “Tadatadado-gama,” located deep in the mountains of Saga.
On slightly clouded porcelain surfaces, his meticulously painted sometsuke and overglaze enamels faithfully follow the compositions of early Imari and Chinese prototypes.
This reference to classical ware provides a broad aperture toward contemporary kaiseki practice and has earned strong support from professional chefs.
For this exhibition, we will present a selection of new works alongside pieces in sometsuke and overglaze enamel.
