2年ぶりの個展、一客ごとの存在が濃くなってきた器たち。
酒を美味しく飲めそうだし、料理の味を引き立ててくれそうだし。

Kota Tanaka solo Exhibition

Kota Tanaka is a ceramic artist based in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture.
He uses unrefined, locally dug clay and shapes his pieces with a traditional kick wheel.
His works are fired in two small kilns — an anagama (tunnel kiln) and a noborigama (climbing kiln).
“I feel like I’ve finally started making something good recently,” Tanaka says.
This will be his first solo exhibition at Momofuku in two years.
We invite you to take this opportunity to appreciate his work.

唐津の相知に坊中窯という名の窯を構える田中さん。
自ら掘ってきた雑味の多い土を生かし、
小ぶりな登窯、穴窯の二基を使い作陶しています。
「いいものができるようになってきた」
と頼もしい田中さんの2年振りの個展です。
